Minit Lube Ltd launched Calgary’s first specialty automotive lubrication centre in 1978. Today, we operate four quick oil change service centres in Calgary and a fifth in Red Deer. Our 2nd Red Deer location is scheduled to open in May, marking our 30th year.

In July 2006, Minit Lube opened its first mechanical repair facility: Minit Automotive. Adjacent to our flagship Calgary location at 85th Avenue and Macleod Trail; this new facility will offer full mechanical services as well as extended maintenance services including brake, tune-up and exhaust.

We are a family business and have remained independent since our inception. We operate clean, attractive facilities in an environmentally conscious manner. Unlike traditional automotive facilities our lube centres offer services that are performed exclusively on a "no appointment necessary" basis thus providing the optimum in convenience. Our Complete Car Care centre will provide extended maintenance services and full mechanic service by appointment.

Over the years our customers' have come to expect quality, trained staff as well as convenient, competitively priced service. To better meet these expectations we have evolved our offerings from our roots as strictly a "quick oil change" company and today are able to offer a variety of services including engine and transmission oil flushes, fuel system cleaning, drive belt, windshield wiper or headlight replacement. All of these services can be provided in minutes, 7 days per week with no appointment necessary.
